Updates from Melbourne Ear Specialists
Our rooms are now fully open for in-person consultations or by our Telehealth (where appropriate) facilities, either over the phone or via Zoom.
We strictly adhere to up-to-date DHHS guidelines for the protection of our patients and our staff.
In accordance with DHHS guidelines and our Covid Safe Plan, we require that all patients and visitors wear a face mask when visiting our clinic.
A maximum of one visitor is allowed to accompany a patient to the examination room. Where possible please only bring one essential carer to the appointment, to maintain social distancing requirements and minimise unnecessary travel.
Please refrain from visiting the office if you have recently experienced fever, cough, shortness of breath, or changes in your sense of smell or taste. Should you have any symptoms please call to reschedule.
Contactless payment is preferred
Due to the increasing difficulty in containing the current Delta outbreak, Melbourne Ear Specialists will limit in person consultations to those patients (over 18) who have had at least their first dose of the Covid Vaccine. This also applies to parents/carers of patients. Proof of 1st dose and or your digital vaccination certificate may be requested. This is readily available at the MyGov website or the Medicare App.
We have taken this step to protect our staff and patients as well the greater Melbourne community.
